Working with the DICE team to create some really unique and engaging visual tools to consolidate information and to develop and structure communal conversations around forward planing and strategy. These visual tools ranged from the large-scale, physical and interactive to the digital and animated.

I initially created two large scale rich pictures as visual-aids for the DICE team meeting in September 2018. These were created from documents, meetings and conversations with the team to consolidate the information, context and planning gathered from each of the 6 DICE countries and to facilitate the conversation going forward.
This rich picture was created in layers that could be applied in any order. This meant the content could be added step by step, to clearly build content and context and to guide and focus the conversation.

On request I redeveloped the Rich Pictures into a layered, interactive booklet. The hand-coloured booklets were created with individualised content for each recipient and extra transparent layers and pens to allow ideas to keep evolving within a clear, communal structure as the conversation develops.

“We were delighted to find Blanche Ellis in this wide world, to help us shape how our global team understands, articulates, visualises and ultimately communicates an ambitious, but complex, pilot initiative. Her open approach to exploration – infused with generosity, curiosity and creativity – combined with her artistic skill resulted in a series of visual ‘working’ documents that we are actively using as a team to test and share our thinking. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”
